A special thanks must go to this group, without whom much of the history of Mary Wade and her descendants would remain undiscovered. In 1986, this group published a book, Mary Wade to Us (now out of print). It recorded the stories of Mary, her children and their early descendants and included many photos, tales and family tree charts. I've drawn heavily from the book in writing about Mary and her daughter Sarah on this web site. But the site does not replace the book - nor does it include all the information in it about them.
